With the unprecedented place that our nation currently exists with the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to issue a response as a church. 2 Timothy 1:7 says, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” We know that God is in control, and our reactions are not out of fear. Things are changing rapidly with COVID-19 and we have to be wise as a church and at the same time lead our communities to hope in Jesus during these uncertain times. Moving forward, we are suspending all gathering indefinitely. Why suspend in-person gatherings during a pandemic? 1. We are loving our neighbors by protecting our neighbors. 2. We are not being fearful. We are being responsible. 3. This is what love requires of us in this season.
With that in mind, we believe that connection and community matter. That social distancing doesn’t mean that we practice social isolation. Moving forward this page will serve as a place that you can stay up to date on all things related to Imagine Church and connect in community. May our faith, trust, and love for Him grow in this season and may we see Him do immeasurably more.
