"Now to He is who able to do immeasurably more that all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen." — Ephesians 3:20-21
We believe that our values inform our mission and are the filter through which all of our ideas are sifted through. We don't choose to do anything as a church unless it aligns with one or more of our values.
Above all else, Jesus is our focus. That means that with everything we do as a church we try to bring it back to Jesus. We do this by taking time on Sunday mornings to intentionally focus on Christ, by offering invitations to salvation, and consistently pointing our church back to Christ and what he did for all of us.
At Imagine we use the transformational loop. The transformational loop is designed to provide opportunities for individual ownership of your faith. Each point in the loop marks a different area in the life of a believer on our spiritual journey. Why a loop? Scripture teaches us that the work of transformation is a process that won’t be fully completed in this life. God is continually molding us and transforming us as we fall more in love with Jesus Everyday. We feel that a loop, having no defined start or end, is an accurate representation of the ongoing process of growing in our faith that we are all on. At Imagine we want to be a community of disciples known for how Jesus is our focus, Everybody Matters, We give Freely, and Grow together. Imagine is a church plant through converge worldwide, specifically the north central division, the denomination with which the church is associated. We believe Imagine Church is, ultimately, not about us. It’s about Jesus. We believe that we are not THE church, just A church, that is a part of THE Church. We want to help people experience inspired new beginnings that change who they are. And our budget reflects that. There is no better way to reach lost people in America today than starting new churches. So that’s exactly what we want to do. We give 5% of our general fund to church planting and we provide resources, coaching, and people to church planting as well. We also give funding and provide people to missions around the world in many places for the sake of the gospel.
